Scott Gordon, President
Scott Gordon, owner and founder of ECT Sales & Service, has over 25 years experience working in the electrical field. Scott started in the industry building electrical control panels while attending night school. He found a passion for the profession in 1983, when he began working with variable frequency controllers and became facinated it's workings. In 1988 he began working for a local electrical distributor, where he was quickly promoted to Shop Manager, eventually becoming the Engineering Manager for the company.
In 2000, Scott founded ECT Sales & Service, and has never looked back. Throughout his career in the industry, he has attended factory trainings with a large variety of companies, including: Toshiba, Acuity Vision Systems, Emerson, and Siemens. Additionally, Scott has served as Factory Field Serviceman for US Drives, Inc., DNH Industries, Hitachi, AC Tech, Toshiba, Acuity Vision Systems, TECO Westinghouse, and various other electrical companies.
To date, he and his wife Tammy find continued satisfaction owning and managing ECT Sales & Service.
Madhu Moses, Electrical Engineer
Madhu Moses was born and raised in southern India, where he graduated with his degree in Electrical Engineering. He and his wife moved from India to live in Samoa, where Madhu worked for in the electrical engineering in the Pacific islands area, including Australia. He and his wife later moved to Utah were Madhu continued his studies engineering studies at Brigham Young University.
Madhu has been working with variable frequency controllers for over 20 years. He had been working as a Field Service Engineer since 1988; during which he has been factory trained and qualified from a variety of manufacturers including, Emerson, US Drives, Siemens, Toshiba, TECO Westinghouse, Hitachi, Baldor and others.
Madhu has extensive experience in start-up work all over the world. He has helped facilitate projects on variable frequency controllers internationally, including: Japan, Canada, Argentina all over the United States. Madhu is a valued partner in ECT Sales & Service, where he continues to perform excellent service in facilitating start-ups, on-site service work and in-house repairs.
Lance Weeks, Electrical Engineer
Lance has working in the industrial electrial engineering field for over 20 years. He has worked in a variety of industrial projects throughout the western United States, from El Centro, CA to Johnson Island, and all over Nevada. In the late 1980's Lance landed at Kennecott Company in Utah, where he working until joining the team at ECT.
Lance has experience in a wide range of electrical skills, including power quality monitoring and working with industrial electrical control eqiupment. He also has a natural affinity and talent for working with programmable logic controller, which is something he loves to do. After working with ECT for the past three years, Lance and his wife began their own business completely outside of the electrical world. Despite his new-found venture, Lance continues to consult with us on a variety of engineering and programming applications.
